In The Kitchen with Kindred Souls
Gathering together with one of the women in the book, I was invited to share lunch with her as well as her daughter. As a hostess gift, I brought a bag of Kirkland Extra Fancy Mixed Nuts, a favorite in our pantry as well as hers (kindred by nuts, LOL). We sat on bar stools in her incredible kitchen as the conversation flowed freely. Her amazing selection of whole foods, organic produce and incredible bread were lovingly made into a meal of mashed avocados on toasted Perenn Bakery Bread with scrambled eggs on top and herbal ginger tea, without caffeine, not my usual, but the combination of flavors were so enjoyable.
