THE MOUNTAINS OF LEGENDARY WOMEN
Mountain Dreamers, published in 1997 by Robert Frohlich, explores legendary visionaries of a mountain community, primarily men. However, it overlooks the significant contributions of women who also influenced their community as well as many others. Having grown up among these icons, I've recognized the roles and legacies of these women, inspiring me to write a book about their historic impact. Despite their sacrifices often going unrecognized, their influence persists and inspires many other women whose lifestyles they've influenced. Over the past two years of research and writing about these women, I have discovered more and more about the resilience and adaptability that contributed to their lifestyles, and the love of family, community, as well as much larger circles of influence, which drove them to pursue life, liberty, and true happiness while becoming legends
Will there be a book 2? Yes, and so KindredConcept.com will inspire kindred women to create new legacies and then to share those stories with us. We want to stay connected, to keep the conversation going and we aim to celebrate the women through shared stories. The journey will draw inspiration from the fashion and beauty industry, the fitness, health and well-being space, recipe sharing to celebrate the women, playlists, art, film, and podcasts.
